Mary Eliza Austin DECKER was born 12 February 1865 at Wakeman, Ohio, to Agnes ROWLAND and Julius AUSTIN. She married J. Howard DECKER at New York, Kings County, New York, on 16 April 1885 and resided at Linoleumville (now Travis), Richmond County, Staten Island, New York. The Deckers had 3 sons, J. Howard Jr, Percy and Ernest.
