• Souvenir of the Clarksfield Reunion. [booklet - 1897]
Although no author was given on the title page, this small booklet on the history of Clarksfield, Huron County, Ohio, was certainly compiled by the town historian, Dr. F. E. Weeks, who was serving as the Secretary for the Clarksfield Reunion Association. The small village celebrated its 80th anniversary since settlement, 1816-1896, by holding a large reunion. This work includes a history of the village and its earliest families and a list of reunion attendees with their current residence and the year that they removed from Clarksfield. There are also photographs of early homes, hotels, grist mills, and other business establishments in Clarksfield and Clarksfield Hollow. At the end is an account of the "Clarksfield Congregational Church Anniversary," celebrated in 1897.
